Stunned. How can the government transport agencies hide their incompetence and feign ignorance to corruption after the Mercier bridge closure this week? At this point, handing over more money to the various bridge consultants must surely be bordering on fraud, hence the tacky anagram.
The bridge has been under consistent “construction/improvements” for years, and yet somehow, an urgent problem with the gusset-plates is only spotted now? What gives?

You can be sure that the Nouvelle Autoroute 30 folks are chuckling with content, eager to open their toll-way ASAP and run (laughing) all the way to the bank.
