city council on your phone?

Further to my earlier blog posts about streaming city council meetings, I have another question to ask: Do you want city council meetings, live or on-demand, on your phone? The reason I ask is that the webteam has signed up to participate in a webinar held by a US-based company, Granicus, that touts streaming of city council to mobile devices.  I personally am not sold on the idea, but am allowing myself to be won over.  They are a potential supplier for the island video project –  we’ll hear out what they are selling, compared to the other options on the market, then...

As head of the web-team here at Pincourt.org / IlePerrot.org, I have frequently been asked about video streaming for city council meetings for the various municipalities on Ile Perrot and possibilities to unite them under 1 common portal.
